The above picture is my first blog entry for my art journal. It is of the infamous reality superstar – SNOOKI. She rose to fame from the hit show Jersey Shore.
Jokes aside, we can actually see some couture line in this picture. The artist emphasizes the head of this female character. One of the reasons is for the fact that this character has a high forehead due to a “poof” hairstyle.
The colors in this picture are in my opinion mostly pastel-ish. It seems that the artist uses neutral colors instead of bright blues and gold. I do like that there is emphasis on the gold hat and diamond sunglasses to show emotion. The intensity in the gold is drawing to the person who is viewing the image. The drafting in this image is very defining – almost giving Snooki a 3D perspective.
