Currently I am residing at the Hackensack Univerity Medical Center and I saw this statue when I first arrived. Although the brown color looks ugly in my opinion, it still caught my mind.
I think this biggest reason why I got intrigued looking at this photo is non traditional shapes of the mother and daughter. The faces more or less represent a shape of a horse and the arms tend to be longer and flatter than most humans. But this where in my opinion the beauty of the artwork lives. No matter what you look like, what you are going through your mother will always be there waiting for a big hug when needed.
