Christmas lights and NYC
I love Christmas and no its not because of the gifts. I just find it interesting how there is a universal set of colors associated with this holiday. Red, green and white transcend onto street corners or any other printable material that can be sold.
This specific artwork can be found in NYC around rockfeller center. While most gaze at the overzealous tree, many forget about these gigantic light-bulbs. I love it because the scale of the shape and power-cord perfectly match the old school type bulbs my family used to rock in the 90's. The scale is in such great proportion that one might think its just a macro shot of the normal bulbs.
